Student Support
The Software Professional course is fully funded by the Department for Employment and Learning. If you are accepted onto the programme, you will receive a training allowance of £120 per week paid directly into your bank account for each week you are in training.
You will also have the opportunity to earn up to £500 in bonuses depending on how you perform in assessments.
Previous SPC courses have been funded through the Bridge to Employment programme whereby trainees on benefits can continue to receive benefit payments while in training. The SPC is no longer offered as part of Bridge to Employment. If you are currently in receipt of job seekers allowance or other benefits, you should check with your local jobs and benefits office to find out how joining the course would affect these payments.
